I HAVE A 58 INCH AMO 35 POUND AT 28 INCHES
RECURVE BOW THAT SAYS ANDERSON ARCHERY CORPORATION ; GRAND LEDGE MICHIGAN ON 1 LIMB AND BIG GAME HUNTER WITH A RAM HEAD PHOTO ON OTHER LIMB. ONLY THING I'VE FOUND IS IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN MADE BTWEEN 1972-1976 BY DICKIE ROBERTS.
ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ? ANY IDEA OF ITS VALUE? IT'S IN VERY GOOD CONDITION; NOT SURE IT'S EVER BEEN SHOT. WAS STORED IN A CLOSET FOR YEARS.

I had one like it about 20 years ago. It was 55#. My long draw caused it to explode on me. It was a real nice shooting bow for me. I wouldn't pull it to 31" or more. Hap

Isn't there an Anderson's Archery Store around Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, area? Seems to me there was one not too long ago. Might check it out-- of course, this could be just a total Brain F. on my part.

Andersons was a big archery shop in Grand ledge for many years. They went out of business around 1997. They were "the" big archery shop in Michigan for many years. I dont know when they opened. I grew up not far from there and bought my first bows there when I was a kid. Actually met Fred Bear there when I was 12... in 1982. He signed a copy of the Archers Bible for me, and I still have it.
That bow looks an awful lot like a Bear Grizzly. I had no idea they had their own bow. It would'nt surprise me if Bear had built the bow for Andersons.

Your right Steve, Bitzenburger was, and still is, in the same building Andersons was in.

My understanding is that Bitzenburger is owned by the Anderson family. Might explain why they're in the same building!
