Maybe he is saving it for the second book. The first one was very good. I could relate to the stories of rushing out after work, changing clothes on the way to get out. That is a great deer up top. His book is called " My Neck Of The Woods"

I think if I recall correctly. That great buck was taken from a lonely small tree in NE.

In Alabama that would get confused for an Elk! They look like German Shepherds with horns sometimes compared to the bruisers you guys are tagging.

A great shot on an early season buck. Good for you Bryce! Love that cape and horn combination, plus all that great meat!

Thanks guys, was away from computer all weekend so getting here late and all the accolades. Geez, can't you see me blushing?
I posted a short story about this buck in a different thread--Banner Man or something--and you can go back to the PowWow and find it.
It was an early season kill on a miserably hot day. Quite a reward, that's for sure. My other '08 buck was the one taken from a tiny, lonely tree and I'll update the Banner Man thread when I get a chance. Lunch duty calls...
