Need help Identifing Bows
« on: January 28, 2009, 07:50:00 PM »
I came across a couple of what feel are fairly old bows.  I was told to make an offer but would like some info.  One is a very nice looking Hoyt it has a metal flipper rest that is recessed. It has 4461 written on the handle over 47#.  It is beautiful wood with inside edge is green.  The other is a very nice looking very short bow that has Sultan Bows 26G, E. Bud Pierson & Son, Pat. #2423765, Stamped into the riser over the shelf is 50 x 20.  Both of these bows are very nice looking and I'm thinking of buying them just for the heck of it.  Anyone have any information on these.
