Helped a friend get ready for Kalamazoo (Bow Pics)
« on: January 29, 2009, 10:13:00 PM »
Being laid off work has it's advantages. My buddy Roman Hershberger of Hill Country Bows was runnin around getting ready for a local sports and outdoor show as well as K-zoo and I had time to help him.

He'd just finished spraying a few bows last night and allowed me to help him install rest material and limb pads. Of course after you do all that you gotta shoot em all to make sure they are ready for all the grubby mits in Michigan!  :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:

Here's a fancy Falcon that is going to the local show. (It's sold)

I hate to admit it but Ohio has some great bowyers! My collection is dominated by Ohio bowyers. Guess I'll have to put my grubby Michigan mitts on one or two of Roman's bows this weekend at K-Zoo!

Dang Kenny, Aren't you the lucky one! Wish I was closer to MI. A good friend of mine has the Wildcat. As a matter of fact he shot it last night on our indoor league.
Sweet shooting longbow and whisper quiettoo! He picked it up at Tollgate traditions last year.   (a sponsor here)  I'm kinda likin that Falcon design. It looks like it fits in your hand nicely. How does it shoot?

Hey Tim.  Stuff happens you know. Can't always do what you want. Hope to make Comptons for sure!

John the Falcon is sweet. Very smooth. My personal one will be at K-zoo.

Roman now has the Falcon available with recurve limbs as well as longbow, or, I guess hybrid.
