Just got back home from my patners lease in San Antonio. Dave invites me for time to time to cut into the hog population on his lease, I try to help out. Tonight at @1835 I shot a sow that weighed @200#+ and missed a second one, as it got too dark. The first sow I shot with a 145 grain Snuffer and Dave was very pleased with the blood trail it left. Stevie Wonder could have followed it the 50 yards to the pig. I like two blade heads from my longbow, but I think I'll use Snuffers on hogs, there was blood almost continually for the 50 yards she ran, thumb sized drops and puddles were about a stride apart. Backstraps for Superbowl Sunday.
