Hey Gang, I want to thank Dave for putting together a great hunt. The best part of the trip was the wonderful people I got to meet. The hunt was spectacular, To put it all together in only two days time, was tough. From the extremely steep terrain to closing the distance for the kill, the rush and excitment was all to great an experience to best describe with words. I am looking forward to next years California Boar Busters Event.

Look at the size of those bow limbs! They're nearly half as wide as your arms!
What kind of bow?

Those California hogs look almost like Mastadons compared to our south georgia hogs. I bet that made your lips pucker!
Congratulations....and what is the make of your bow?

Congrats Jim....I think they're just messin' with ya    ;)   ....just that the bow looks huge because you're sittin' so far behind the hog. That's definitely a "would-b" style pic....make's a 170#'er look like a 300#'er.....

Sounds like a great time, can't wait to see more pix of the hunt...congrats again!!

Gents, this aint Texas or GA where the hogs die on flat ground.   "[dntthnk]"  It's not that easy to set up the timer and scramble around on a slope like that.

It was a great time hunting hogs with y'all.

Jim, oops.... Sense I need more classes, so I to, may be one with the boar.

Nice job bro....

We covered about 1/100th of the ranch, it's loaded with hogs, I saw close to 100 & Vance saw 70 in one sounder.

I missed my one and only shot, I was hunting a vary open and steep mountain, 30 yard shot steep down hill, well, it went over it's back so maybe 25yards.

Had a 250lb boar broadside at 30 yards, I thought Vance was going to shoot, but he couldn't see it's chest, just it's butt.

I was waiting for him, then we got busted by another hog that came from are left and saw Vance, the hole thing blew up.

Everyone was great and top notch people, it just went by way to fast.

I saw a Condor, a Golden Eagle, lot's of Red Tail Hawks, Bobcat, about 10 Elk, over 200 deer.

Last night someone broke into my garage and stole my hunting pack, it had my camera with all of the pic's, my Zeiss 10x40 binoculars, my wallet, cell phone, tags, knife, my hunting journal, etc.....

I had $200 cash and all my credit cards, they already used the cards for $300 by 6:30.

When I went out to the garage and saw my pack was gone, I called Vance to see if some how I left it in his truck, he said, he put it on top of one of the blue containers and I remembered seeing it there also.

I called the bank and put a stop on everything, that's when they told me there was 3 charges last night in the early am.

Oh well, move on
