Fell off the wagon!
« on: February 04, 2009, 12:08:00 AM »
I thought I had everything under control and had convinced myself that at my age I wouldn't buy any more new bows, but would restrict myself to an occasional used one. Well, I saw where this certain bow company had a set of limbs just my size. Of course I had to call and ask about them. One thing led to another and, well, it's kind of like being at an auction when you get caught up in the heat of the bidding and find you just can't stop untill you've won. I asked about the limbs. One thing lead to another and before you knew it the limbs needed a riser, and the riser needed checkering, and etcetera, etcetera.

Monday I put a check in the mail to Schafer, so now the wait. Grrrrrrrrr, I hate waiting.

Congrats Louis, you're not going to get much sympathy from many bow-a-holics around here...
