So how'd we do this season, it was a washout for me. Didn't see any Deer, but loads of Turkeys. I wonder when we'll have a turkey season on LI. Looks like they are out browsing the deer.

Early season started off great some good bucks spotted and some does put in the freezer. Early November took a small buck, then mid-season got weird, went 8 sits with out seeing a deer.  Finally ended up taking a good buck December 5th. All in all a great season sandwiched around a very long dry spell, 3 does & 2 bucks.  Saw turkeys every time I sat down, there is a form you can pick up from the  DEC concerning turkeys.  They want you to keep a log while your out this winter of how many birds you saw and where.  Joe
