walnut nock

Just got done making some walnut nock blanks.
Someone asked me if I would try to make some nock lanks that fit the standard nock taper. I can't see any market for them, since a hardwood nock can't be anywhere near as durable as plastic. They are kind of neat in that they just glue on like regular nocks and are the diameter of the arrow, but they still have to be slotted and shaped after fitting.

That's one of the coolest things I've ever seen, Jim. Pretty ingenious...

Jim, thats a great looking nock. I like how you narrowed the thickness. This was my first attempt on a primitive arrow. This one is massaranduba.

Bowspirit,
How is your nock fitted to the shaft. Is that an aluminum and the nock fits inside?
