Kwyk Styk w/ static limbs opinions please
« on: February 07, 2009, 03:37:00 PM »
Got a Kwyk Styk 56" w/ static limbs on the way, was hoping to get some feedback from those that own or have shot them. Also, what brace height you use on it.

 Thanks, Lanier

Sergio I am drooling........

Great bows, really smooth on the draw, quiet, fast and well made.  I think you'll like it!

I have two of them that are 58" and had a 56".  The 58's are the exact same specs and one is braced at 7.25 and the other is best just shy of 7.75. Nice shooting bows.

Say what you want...I still like my Kempf Stealth better! LOL....The limbs are mounted on the right side of the bow...not backwards...   :saywhat:

Jack just won't listen to me.........

Lanier I'm sure you will fall in love with Kwyk Styk, especially with the static limbs.Nice and quiet and helps if you have any issues with finger pinching.  Let me guess, do you have a grey beauty with a funky thumbrest coming?                              Mo.

Curt,
I can see why Bob W. ain't shot or bought one of them from you, shelf's on the wrong side.LOL. I am a lefty mostly, but shoot, play golf and bat righty. Very nice looking bows you got. What was the deciding factor in getting the limbs you have over the static ones ?

 Thanks, Lanier

I have a 58" Kwyk Styk.  Absolutely love it!  Hits hard and shoots like a dream.  I had one of Shawn's 56" styks that was osage and cocobolo.  Probably was one of the prettiest styks I have seen and held, but I'll be real honest, Sergio, that pic of your black beauty made me contemplate ordering another. =)  Is that a phenolic riser?

Hi Shawn; The Kwyk styk in the above pic is some kind of rosewood with white phenolic accents, the static limbs have a leopard pattern on the limbs under clear glass. The bow is 58" 61#@28", and you 're right absolutely hard hitting accurate Bows and Jack is a heck of  a nice person.
