Recommend an arrow size please...

I am getting my cousin into traditional archery.  He just bought a K-Mag from the classifieds here.  His specs are:

50 lb.
28 inch draw
29 1/2 arrows

I want to get him going inexpensively, so I am thinking aluminums with 150 grain Stingers.  Do 2018's sound about right?   Thanks for your expertise.

2018s is about right at that length with 150 up front but you may also want to try 2016s if you can get your hands on some to try .

11/32's. You said "traditional" and wood is still cheaper than aluminum. I like  www.arrowwoods.com  Cedar is a good starting point. You'll break the first dozen so I wouldn't go fancy.
