Fun hunt today..

Chris ,Brother John and myself decided to go terrorize some of Apex`s Rabbits today.WE actually only hunted an hour or so but it was fun. Left to right..John Bookhart,Chris Spikes and Me...RC. A spud each.

 

  I took this pic of some very lucky or smart turtles. That ain`t a log they sitting on.RC

I   ALMOST stepped on this joker.  RC had already walked by him and got him riled up.  I don't think I would have seen him if he hadn't showed his cotton-white mouth.  I fed him a judo right down the pipe.

GREAT SHOOTING GUYS!! that white mouth was a good spot to concentrate on:) you gotta loves those kinda days afield, even if its just an hour or so.

Chris, I was just about to comment on the snake boots when I scrolled down to your post.  Dang cotton mouths don't have the sense that a rattlesnake does to hibernate some!  I guess it is getting warm enough to look out for about all of them.

RER bows is going to be at the TBOF shoot, Chris.  Just in case you are wanting another one...

Great picture of the turtles on the back of the gator.  Reminds me of that old Frogger video game.

That pic of the turtles is really neat.I would'nt think  they would do that. Isn't nature grand.

That was a nice shot on that bugger. I normally leave them in tiny, indistinguishable peices. And that's only because it wouldn't be right to burn down the entire woodlot.   :mad:     ;)

Yep and Water Moccasins will too..I've had them try and get in the boat a few times. Especially if you mess with them.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.
