First Traditional Bow Kill
«

Well a friend of mine, his son, and I went out rabbit hunting tonight. I was carrying my Shrew Lil' Favorite prototype and it served me well. I shot one at about 10 yards with a Judo tipped flu flu and the other was shot with a .22 pistol by my friends son. This is my first kill with a bow. I got home cleaned them up and cooked them for dinner. Man rabbit has never tasted so good.

Awesome. Only small game I can kill with my recurve is armadillos and that's because they are blind and stupid and let me get to within pointblank range. Steve

Hey Tim, congrats on the rabbits. I took 2 shots at one the other night. Close misses. Think the second shot gave him a haircut. Was hoping to get my first Trad kill also, but hey, it was great even though I misssed. Anyways, awesome, Justin

No season in MT, and you don't need a license. I called fwp to check, they are considered vermin here, LOL.

Great job! Just don't start marking your kills by cutting notches in the beautiful bow.

Thanks for the support guys it was a great day to be out with the ol' stick and string. Here in Michigan out rabbit season runs from September 15 through March 31 so we got a couple more weeks of some good bunny action. Hope to get a few more under my belt. This is going to make it a long summer waiting for next yeat. Good think turkey season is only 2 months away.
Thanks again,
Tim
