I've hunted turkey a long time...and never seen a property with more big gobblers than this one.

a flock of birds on the road, last weekend

Hearing and working undisturbed practically unhunted turkeys on this large block of property with no competition from other hunters and then chasing pigs the rest of the day, fine food, good campmates, guides, skinners, packers, all reasonably priced.

I have one slot left for Mar 27,28,29 and four slots for April 24,25,26.

Required Licenses for Hunting Turkey in the State of South Carolina
(Big Game includes deer and bear as well, but NOT hogs)

The License year runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following year.

You must present your Hunter Education Card when buying a license if born after 1979

Annual Non-Resident Hunting License $125.00 required for turkey and deer only

3-Day Non-Resident Hunting License $40.00 this is what you pay if ONLY hunting hogs

I'll have to get with you next spring. I am having shoulder surgery in 3 weeks. I hope to be able to shoot a hunting weight bow by fall, it's up in the air for now.

RC is right! (although I hate to admit it.)

I've been fortunate enough to be looking at pigs and hearing a big gobbler drumming behind me a few times. One of life's biggest delemmas!!

You would probably come down to Charlotte..and take 77 to Columbia and go south on 321 to ESTILL, SC where we meet. 2 hrs 15 to 2 hrs 30 minutes from Charlotte, NC?

The other dates at this moment are wide open..but folks are supposed to call back tomorrow or over the weekend about them.

You know how that goes.

Ray, SOLD. Do you think any date is better than the other? Also, I have a fiance that will not hunt but would like to come along. Would this be possible, and if so, how much? I don't really care, but is it camping, or a bunkhouse type deal?
