News flash... Just got off the phone with my supplier. These files are made in Austria and the Rockwell hardness is 60-62.

He also has a even more aggressive chrome file called a "Strawberry file". These are similar to the radius tooth body files but in a very, very aggressive, 8 teeth per inch single cut style. The Rockwell on the Strawberry files is... ready for this?... 70-72!!!

I just ordered a dozen because that's all he had and it looks like these are gonna be hard to come by till the fall. They're custom made and he only orders them once a year. Bummer!!!!

I can only get the Strawberry files in 12" size until his next order and the Panzers are just about gone too. He places his annual order in April and doesn't get the delivery till September... I think I'm gonna be sick...  :(
