I have a selway qucik detach and really like it. It dampens any noise or vibration that comes from the bow, which to begin with is almost non existent.

If you do not mind me asking, can you interchange your limbs and risers. As can you take a riser and any set of limbs and put them on, or do you have to have the limbs made to fit the riser. I hope this sounds right. Alan

Thanks Mike; Yup ! thats just one of my Silvertip Beauties, I've got a stable full of them. My draw length is 29' and for many years I shot a 68# @ 29" 58 in. Silvertip, now that I'm older I'm really enjoying My grey action wood black limbed 62" 65# Silvertip.I've got some beauties that have never been shot.
I know you are really going to enjoy yours!!

Getting back to the question of quvers . I have a different way of attaching the thunderhorn or selway quivers to any takedown Bow. I promise to take sequential pics today , if someone would like to volunteer to post them. Craig has been very kind and patient about posting for me, but i don't want to over do my welcome there. Thanks Craig.

Ya!(thats Canadian talk)LOL, I think it's a pretty neat way to attach the Selway/Thunderhorn type quivers ,all my friends are using this stsetm now.The shield cuts work real well , chop real easy and you can make them any length you want.

Wow, those Silvertips sure look like awesome bows!!!  I am in the market for a new recurve, and I will have to test drive one.

Glad Arrow4Christ told me about this thread.

this thread must not die! LOL here is a pic of Sergios rest and how he trims it. It looks close to the Saber one I have ordered from TradMall Sergio...I'll post a pic of it too.

Here is Sergio's.

Here is the one I ordered for my Border...anyone know what type of rest Dave Windauer sends out with his bows?
