Craig;
     I prefer the rest that I use because the rubber is nuch harder and slicker than either the weather rest or the one in you picture. I have experimented with many other rubber rests and much prefer the Golden eagle, jennings or the hard rubber hoyt, which i have on my 62" Silvertip. Also really like a brush rest (don't know if you received pics of it on my 60" dymond wood Silvertip?? let me know if you received those pics.

I may have to try a rest. Should you put it as low to the shelf as possible?

Not hoping to change the thread in anyway, but I will tell you what my recent question has been.

Do I want a Black Widow PSA or a Silvertip?

I have shot widows in the past, and I will see if I can try out a Silvertip soon.

The worksmanship looks top notch on the Silvertips, and they carry with them more history and spirit than the Widow.  I remember reading the TBM with Paul on the cover back in the early '90's and asking my uncle "Who was Paul Schafer?"  Little did I know.....

Thanks everyone.  Dave probably will get a bow order from me (partly because of this thread).

Brett, I answered you on the other thread. I have both and can't go wrong with either one. The Silvertip works the best for me. I plan on keeping both of my Widows because after shooting the PSA11 it reminds why I have picked the Tips!

Black Widow has a huge legacy of preserving stickbow manufacturing and don't dicount what the company and thier bows have accomplished.

With that being said Paul built many of the forms Dave is using now and a little bit Paul is still going out with each Silvertip!

Sergio,
Still nothing.

Guys- I recieved my 2nd silvertip in late November. I noticed after a member on here pointed out that the riser is not as wide as my other silvertip. Anyone know if Dave changed it up a bit to loose some mass? No complaints, just curious. Thanks

Hi, Great thread does anyone know how to or if you can use a Great Northern quick attach quiver with the antler bolts? I have a strap on on it right now, it tapped for a Kwiki (wrong spelling) i think, i'm not all that fond of that quiver style just checking. Thanks
