Bearheart,
There wasn't much going on there in the 70's either. I was "stuck" there from 1974-76.
Caught a zillion catfish though in Little River, the Cape Fear and the Neuse!

Shoot Biggie. Knowing you've been around for two hundred and thirty some odd years kinda explains that impressive number of big game kills!

Darn, I did not see this yesterday. I don't think he made it to our shoot today.
Anyway Gander Mountain across from the mall on Skibo street has an indoor range. We shoot leagues year round but this coming week is our off week before the next season starts.
You old warhorses would find Fayetteville much nicer now than the old days. I moved back here after I retired formt he USAF last summer.

Thank God Hay St. was bulldozed early in my 84-87 82d stay. I found the Outer Banks, Cape Fear, Wilmington....stuck in Fayetteville meant DRB and one hour recall. Much better options than the current 'troopers have though. There were two official Ft. Bragg archery ranges and we shot several times at Mckellar's lodge. That was the mid 80's and I imagine things have changed quite a bit.

There is no more archery on post. The Fort Bragg Bowhunters disbanded over a year ago. It is unfortunate.

I was a member at Mckellers lodge a few years ago and I don't remember an archery range. Fort Gordon, GA has a great range on post.
