Thanks Dad
« on: March 14, 2007, 10:47:00 PM »
I just wanted to thank my dad for every thing he has done. He made me what I am. A traditional bowhunter. I feel luckey to have grown up with a dad that has always and only shot trad. He is the smartest and most humble man that I know. He is on tradgang every day but you never hear from him. I could go on and on about what he is and has done but I will just say I love my dad and thank you dad, I know you will read this.

Nice thread - Sometimes we just need to take the time to say those kind of thinks to those deserving, and your dad is indeed deserving.  Well said

Brother, I would like to thank you for starting this thread.

I consider myself even luckier than Jesse, in that I have such an incredible Dad, and such an incredible brother that have made me what I am today. I just hope that we have many, many more years of making, shooting, and hunting with traditional bows together.

I love you both and I look forward to our next shooting/hunting rendezvous!

The blanks are coming along beautifully! We (my dad and I) are ready for sanding/finishing! Finally made time to work on it, and didn't take long, I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done. Jesse has been super busy lately, so hasn't had time to work on his, but I can't wait til all three of us are finished and can shoot them together!

On a side note, mine is still a little heavy (70lbs. @ 27") but it shoots my really heavy ash arrows super fast!

Also, my Dad already winged a bird with his!
