Double threaded inserts...where to buy?
« on: February 24, 2009, 03:20:00 PM »
I am currently ordering the inserts from Bingham Supplies and don't know if the $4.20/pair is a deal or way over-priced. Does anyone know of any other suppliers of these inserts?  Thanks!

The inserts that I am looking for are used to connect bow limbs to the bow handle when using the hex bolts. Some bowyers use 2 bolts and other bow makers use 4 bolts...either way I would like to find an alternate supplier to Bingham.  Thanks

you can check around but I've yet to find ones exactly like the ones Binghams carry.  I don't mind ordering my hardware from them, because they do alot for aspiring bowyers and our sport.

Unless your mass producing bows, their prices are pretty reasonable, and it takes the guess work out of putting one together.  JMHO.  Tim
