Hope some of ya'll are getting unburied from the snow. Dry here but beautiful stumping weather.
Some Indian tools along with some of our flint garden, daffodils and arrows.

LOL that's kind of funny seeing as how I was excited about my daffodils just starting to cut dirt and here yours are in bloom! Cool. Can't wait.

Izzy, I have had 7 pairs of Cardinals in my yard at the feeders all winter. The snow is still all over and I'm tired of it...lol!

Titmice are doing their soft, enticing calls, and a song sparrow bashed out his territorial challenge as I walked Spirit in the dark yesterday morning. Hawks are pairing up and the eagles are repairing their nests.
The maple buds look real red. Tulip poplar buds are swelling, though they won't open for a few weeks yet.
I'm ready!

Sounds like spring to me Killdeer, we can look for that in about 5 weeks. But all good comes to those who wait, at least thats what they say..

Got 18" of snow here on Monday. Just about burried my deer targets. We still had about a foot from the last storm.
We lost close to 60% of our deer herd last winter up in the northern part of the state and probably 30% down here where I live due to extreme snowfall each of the years. The critters could sure use a break from all this "GLOBAL WARMING" and YES, I'm ready for Spring too!

Here in PA we know Spring is right around the corner when the spit thaws on the gas pump island at Sheetz.
The local maple producer tapped the trees a couple weeks ago. That's a true sign of Spring.

Spring....yeah right...4 feet of snow here....spring...just what is it anyway. Here Winter starts pretty much in October...never seen a kid without a snowsuit under their haloween custumes yet.
August is nice cause the bugs are pretty much done by the end of it.
May June Jult we have pooooooor sledding....but the fishing is very very good.
So Oct To Mid May she's friggin winter...so no ground hogs here either...buried in snow is my guess.
Looking forward to spring bear though. Be out on the horse for 10 days this year

Makes me glad I live in AZ. The thought of snow measured in feet is scary
A little early at our altitude here but the roses are starting to show new growth and the Elm are begining to bud.
Phoenix is having some 80 deg.temp. days already!! Big upgrade at our local Granite Mountain archery range. AAHHH spring is on the wing.
