Can the bear montana handle high performance strings such as dyna flight 97.

Mine can. It's a couple years old. It came with a fast flight endless loop. I have a Flemish Twist on it now, but it can handle the high performance with no issue. I did notice it being any louder either, but my hearing isn't so good. Try it.

I have one of the 6 strand D97 strings on mine and it works fine. That said, I seem to remember reading that there were some older Montana's that weren't meant for fast flight strings. I might be wrong though. How would one know then? Does the tip overlays mean its fastflight compatible?
