Sharpening Zwickey 4 blades....
« on: February 26, 2009, 07:08:00 PM »
I've had a few inquiries about these heads lately, and I've replied to a couple...for those I didn't...here's the info.

This clip is on the How-To forum for future reference.

Also, I'd like to add a tip to the bleeder clip.  Some times you have to repeat the method if there is a bit more paint build up at the edge of the blade....or simply just hit each side a few licks each before you start the method to remove the paint beaded up on the edge.....

   Zwickey Sharpening clip...

If those don't work for ya...try this video format...

Any idea what this means?  I get it everytime I try to open these clips.  I've watched a bunch of other videos here, just can't open these.  Thanks...Mike

That format works for me, Terry.  Thank you.  Exactly what I needed to see.

Question:  can you sharpen the bleeders with the accusharp?  They look like they may be a little small to get in there, but you did mention that they are easier with the file anyway.  Thanks...Mike

Thanks for the info Terry.  It was great to talk with you today. I really like the point you made about the feather quill......
