Some people use a hot melt glue for installing inserts in carbons, but it is not recommended.Carbon's are very tough but do not take excess heat very well.I used hot melt on a carbon once with good result, but on the second one I trashed a prefectly good carbonwood. After that I prefer to use powerbond or AAE two part insert epoxy. You might be able to get by with hot melt but be careful with the heat if you half to heat the shaft.Powerbond is heat reversable, just install a field point and heat that and pull the insert straight out without twisting it.
