I never saw so much good advice all in one place before! (Well, except maybe bowtough.   :saywhat: )

When I think of my travels through those Years of Hormonal Insanity, I cringe. I had to get my heart good and broken so that I would be free for someone who would celebrate who I am, and encourage me to be more, rather than fight me for it.

Go hunt, and be the best that you can be. Whatever is in the cards will work out. You can't force it, and yes, while you both are "auditioning" is when it should be purt-near perfect. Once married, the tendency is to slack off and relax, heck, you've caught the train, so you quit running.

I hope you have a terrific hunt, I hear from a respected friend that Ray is a wonderful host, and a Southern gentleman of the finest stripe.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Oh, Wallflower?
Years ago I copied and saved a recipe for cathead biscuits...looked good but never made them. Do a "Google". And pignut is a type of hickory. I am assuming that is the basis of the recipe...

LOL Killdeer, thanks for clarifying.  I hoped it was just a term used and not the actual anatomy, but sometimes you gotta wonder HA!

I can see where you might have trouble making heads or tails outta that.

It's the way the cheese is produced and harvested that makes lesser men cringe.

The manly men from PA scoff at such things! We ate heartily and with gusto!

Besides, we all recently had our shots and were good to go.

We're going back in Oct! I'm anxious to see what other local cuisine Ray can whip up for us.

Marry for money and get a dog for Love! lol! Don't believe me! Lock up your dog and girlfriend in the trunk for 1 hour (kidding of course) and when you open the trunk see which one is happy to see you!!

Heartbreak can hurt bud.  But nothing works better to cure me of most anything that being in the outdoors. I've been there too.  I was on the outs with one of my girlfriends.  Went to Africa, and when I came back she was shacked up with some other guy! I came home heartbroken, and just broke!

iv been lucky i have a girlfriend that when we started going out, did not like hunting at all, (usually when i run) i changed her opinion, she understands why i hunt now, supports it. knows ill go all over the place and hunt all the time,  no problem with that. thinks i love my longbow more than her ..no comment   :saywhat:   . for my 21st she ordered me a Shrew!! now wants to start shooting herself.
...got my self in a heap of trouble    :biglaugh:

hope you have a good hunt!
There is more to the Hunt.. then the Horns
