He made it easy.  Thanks, Joe, for the education and the great customer service.

Looking forward to receiving my new CXR riser'd TD recurve in August!

Sincerely,

Jeff
August!  You got more paitence than I do!!  I had to wait 3 days to get a Treadway that I bought from the classifieds and I thought I would die!! :banghead:   :clapper:

Yup guys, Kevin,Sue and Joe are great people!! Also, I did receive the LX today. WOW!! I had to work late and the wife texted me and let me know it arrived. I got home at 7PM. I had it put together and strung up in 2 minutes and was shooting it in 3. Best looking longbow I have ever owned and like all my RERs(5) I shoot it darn good. Jeff, you made a wise choice!! By the way this bow smokes, very quick and super quiet!! Thanks Kevin,Sue and Joe!! Shawn

Joe, what did Jeff order? He says he was not quite sure!! My bow is absolutely stunning!! It shoot the same arrow as all my RERs which to me is awesome. This one is a bit heavier(57#s at my draw) than I have shot in a while due to my shoulders, but I am loving it. My others are recurve and they are 52-54#s at my draw  and the arrow flight is perfect from them all. 29.5" Heritage 150 with 175 grains up front. Thanks again bud!! Shawn

Jeff's bow will be a 60" CXR, 52# @ 28" with a Granadillo riser.  He wasn't fussy at all with the limbs, so we'll leave it up to Kevin when he builds it to use something that will look good, but very possibly Red Elm.  I think that would make a very cool looking hunting bow!

Here's a link to a new thread I started that tells about the new Arroyo I bought, well at least paid for     ;)      :)  , yesterday.

  http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=071453

What I forgot to mention was the superb customer service Joe gave in responding to my request for a 58" or 60" 47#@28" Arroyo.  The closest he was able to come was the 54", 46#@28" Arroyo I bought.  I've read a lot of coments, especially Shawn's, about how great the 54" Arroyo shoots.  I figured that if it handles Shawn's 29" draw my 28" draw will be no problem.  And sticshooter told me the 54" Arroyo handles his 30" draw real smooth, too.

Thanks Joe for your assistance and excellent advice.  I enjoyed talking to you on the phone.
