Oughta be cool - Favorite traditional/Primitive photos
« on: March 04, 2009, 01:26:00 AM »
Not a contest (by any means), but I was wondering if you guys would share some of your favorite traditional/primitive photography.

I was in Mexico, last spring, and this was in the lobby of the resort.  I love it.

Share yours....

I lifted this picture of a Brazilian archer out of Wikipedia.

Blue Lake posted this pic of Yeomusa, traditional Korean archers.

These are Japanese women from Wiki again.

And a pic of my favorite trad archer, Bernie.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Ok, gotta know.  What was the bet that Bernie lost?

50 years is a mile mark!

My better half and I will hit 19 years of Marriage this year and 22 years since our first date.

Lots of cool history I can't wait to see it all.

I will play.  This is from my first walk in the woods with my old Sarrels Sierra longbow.  Found this shed near this stump and decided to take a break.  The picture really just took itself.  I shot my first big game animal (hog) about an hour after this picture was taken...also my first successful spot and stalk.  It was a great day.  Someone on my home site suggested I change it to B/W and it looks much better.

Good stuff Ken. Still have that bow?

Amicus, I'd like the story of that shot.

Texas first archery season for deer.  1959. That is me on the right and we were all going to Baylor at the time. Bow on the left was Bear and Pearson in the middle. I had painted some GI green fatigues for my camo.
