Argentina, who has hunted there?
« on: March 04, 2009, 03:01:00 PM »
Would like to plan a trip for the near future. Info on outfitters/guides, places to stay, contacts, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Might I suggest you get a Safari Club International membership. Ton of SCI members/outfitters in Argentina. As an SCI member you would have full access to all hunt reports filled on outfitters. Make sure you try for a White Lipped Peccary if your heading down there.

Bowhunting is becoming very popular in Argentina, alittle on the pricey side, I know bowhunting safari consultants has an outfitter they recommend. I have friends down in LaPampa and am planning a trip in a few years for red stag and boar. We always have room for one more. The only thing you have to pay for is the airline ticket. But, it won't be for a few years, if you are willing to wait.

Are they free range hunts as a rule or are they behind wire?  Just curious is all.
