Christmas in March, pics added,Dye pics added
« on: March 10, 2009, 08:42:00 PM »
:goldtooth:        :goldtooth:

I feel like a kid at Christmas. Went to the P.O. today to pick up a package that the P.O. had that almost got sent back cause they put the notice in the wrong box. Guess what, 3 packages.

One from Zipper with my new SXT longbow.
One from Canada with my new Dale Dye Medicine Point.
One from Texas with my Bear type 1 C riser and two sets of limbs.

Will most likely sell the C riser and target limbs, only wanted the set of white tips for my A riser.

The other two are staying right here.

Only one unpacked is the Zipper and it is a beauty, hope to be able to shoot it today.

I will post pics in a day or two of all three bows. I gotta go unpack the others,LOL.

Oh nooooooooo.. Not again. Let's see the pictures, Come on Danny. I want to see a group of how that Zipper shoots. You can't keep teasing like this.

Congrats on getting to post office in time. Man what a scary thought having them sent back only to have to wait again.  :banghead:

OK,OK,LOL,

Here are some pics of the Zipper SXT longbow. All I can say is oh my goodness!!! Fianlly a longbow I can shoot as well as my Brack Quest. The group in the pic is the very first group from 25 yards, I would say it likes my CE Heritage 250s. It is 62",61#@28",amazing zebrawood and bacote riser with boo limbs covered in equally amazing flat grain zebrawood vaneers.

I am a very happy camper. I will post pics of the Dye and Bear later or tomorrow, I am having too much fun shooting this one right now.

For me Steve the SXT riser has it all over the Extreme and Standard. According to the way their selling Bill tells me I'm far from alone in feeling that way.

Nice bow Danny.

I love the pile of targets. 7 if I counted right.

Made me laugh.

Oooh and speaking of counting, I think you owe us pics of two more bows.

Thanks everyone.

I shot this bow for hours yesterday and I just love it. Hits where I look, fast and a looker. Raining today so will have to play the waiting game on getting the other two up.

The Dye is outstanding also, prettiest Dye I have owned and a real shooter.

LOL, yeah, there is a pile of targets but most of them are used as a back stop, jungle is behind them. I do not miss very often but when I do if the backstop was not there I would never find the errant arrow. I shoot at the deer, yellow jacket and Reinheart block, plus there is a pig target that is not in the pic.

I will try hard to get some pics up of the other two bows today.
