My Fedora Xcellerator. My dad took me to Mike's for my 17th birthday and we helped build em. I also got my first deer with it.

I'm going with Vermonster on this one.  Can't put it in writing or it may be used against me at another time  :biglaugh:

I'll never get rid of my Bear Montana, its the bow that started me on my journey in all of this! This is the bow I killed my first buck with and it just a solid, hard hitting bow that shoots very well for me!

My Leon Stewart longbow make from the prettiest birdseye maple I've ever seen; that one goes to whichever of my grandsons falls prey to this obsesssion of ours.
Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons; people are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

My three Dale Dye Trail's End recurves.  Mainly because he's my hunting partner and I currently don't have to watch my back.  I'd like to keep it that way!

My first custom - Jerry Barr Thunder Mt. Lobo. 58" 52@28

I sold it once and kicked myself ever since.  I was able to get it back a few months ago, and it will not leave me again.

Mine would be three bows I don't shoot.  Two Bob Jones bows, an elderly fella who lives within 15 miles of my house, a T/D recurve and a 1-PC Hill style LB, and a Bill Stewart Multicam T/D recurve.  It has a rosewood riser, unusual for a Multicam bow built by Mr. Stewart, is 68" long, built as a target bow for a fella out W, and the limbs are mounted on the belly side of the riser, not the norm for Mr. Stewart.

Outside of that, I've come to know to NEVER say this shooter bow is a keeper and I'll NEVER sell or trade it.  I've repeated the course of breaking promises like that more times than I can count!  :)

A trophy is in the eye of the beholder.

The two I am shooting right now.  The first is a Black Widow PLGA.  I have always had a thing for Black Widows.  Knowing this, my wonderful wife and daughter bought me a Golden Anniversary Widow.  This last season is accounted for one squirrel, one rabbit and 2 whitetails.  This bow is a true pleasure to shoot and will always be with me.
The second bow is an A&H ACS CX.  This I bought from John at Compton in 2006.  It is hands down the finest shooting bow I have ever had the pleasure of shooting.  It is the older style narrower limbs design with bamboo cores and I really prefer this over the newer style.  My wife said that she new after the first arrow I shot from this bow that I needed to buy it.  She said she could tell by the look on my face.  I still get that same look of amazement on my face everytime I shoot it, after it being on the wall for a little while.

I have probably said i will never trade or sell this one before. Some of those bows outgrew me though.

I got a Frederick Longbows 50s style recurve that I want to hang on to for an hierloom for my bow.

Has sentimental value and as far as I know I got the only one ever made.

Its handsome, smooth quiet, fast and weighs just a little over a pound.

This bows unique as well in that its 1 and 1/8th wide at the fades and tapers nicely to very tiny tips and is very deep cored.Three lams of Bamboo black glass and Gaboon Ebony riser. Its a true keeper for me!

My Horne Combo Longbow, first custom bow I ever ordered & my Shaun Webb selfbow.
