I missed 92. That was the year I had my hip replaced. I do recognize several people though. great memories. I surely miss shooting with my old gang. Durwood Fuller, Keith Woods, Rick Petusky, Gilbert Peel, G Ralph Harper, Johnny Holt and even old Dee Stephens. We even let Big Wind hang around when he wasn't shooting so good. We all started in 1991.

Yeah, Jeff. The last time I saw Dee he came to the banquet wearing an Australian drover coat and cowboy hat and had a gal on his hip wearing the same outfit.

I think they rode off into the sunset together.

Yeah Ray, they rode off into the sunset but she couldn't hang with Dee. He is still bouncing around New Mex and Arizona.

Remember this shot? Those are genuine Krispy Kreme donut boxes. I don't know what happened to the donuts......

Krispy Kreme box was full before Biggie shot the target.  Krispy Kreme box was empty when the next group arrived at the target.  As G. Fred would say, "hmmmm".

That was a cool target. I haven't been to a shoot that had as many thoughtful targets as the SE. We shot that one out of a stand if I remember right. Yep I remember Biggie with crumbs all over his shirt that morning. At first we thought we heard his belly grumbling alll over the range but then discovered it was just a pe off bear.

Great post, I got into trad. archery too late to attend Elberton. I shoot with the Olde Fartes and many of the members speak fondly of the good times they had there. Do any of you remember David Harris? He often shot with Kieth Woods. David passed away about eight years ago, he was a good friend and mentor to me. He won the Seniors divison at Elberton one year, He was very proud to have his name on the stone.

I remember sharing a hotel room with Biggie one year.  He had the air conditioning turned up so high that when I woke up in the morning there was an inch of snowing covering everything.

Bow table in the vendor area.

JV..if you'd put a little meat on those bones, you'd appreciate a little cool air.
