Hey James, you took my advise!    Guys, I've known James and have seen and shot his bows for years. His natural material bows are outstanding but all of his stuff is. James also make great glass lam bows and horse bows as well as beautiful selfbows. He ain't too shabby at knapping either. His wife Rebecca does some of the best quill work, amongst other things, you will ever see.
   And to think I talk so nice about someone that calls me ugly!  d;^)

I looked hard at the pictures to see if he was wearing shoes.  38 pictures, 2 shoes.    :jumper:  

You'd think that with all the money he saved on shoes that he'd get better rock than rhyolite to beat on...     ;)

woody i live in creston- n.c mountains..i live on the land parcel that i patrol..part of the nature conservancy....its wonderful here .but just a little colder than what im used to.. but at my elevation there are  ticks chiggers  or mosquitos..lots of game- bears ,deer turkey. and the sorts..one thing thats abundant is rattle snakes...big ones..some all balck like a king snake no other colour  just black with rattles and big fangs...    im still in training ,i work a lot with law enforcment a wildlife officers..so im learning quite a bit.. i hope to retire here.,, im the third person to have this job since 1934..the last guy here retired at 84 .. well ive got to go out on another patrol.. real good talking to you .. if you get bored give a call ..the home/office # 336 385 1320..  see ya--   james
