Joe:

Sorry I missed this one...

I "may" be going to SC to hog hunt next weekend.  We'll see.

If not, it'll be April 11th for our turkey opener, here.  Huntingson will be here the following thurs. (4/16) to hunt a few days.

I plan on shooting some 3D after turkey season....then going afield all trad. for the first time, this fall.

God luck to all!

Hog hunting this afternoon. Turkeys tomorrow AM.
The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

TURKEY SEASON my favorite season of the year. Start here in La. then Oklahoma, then Kansas, then Nebraska, then Missouri, then Arkansas, then back home. Just one big circle that I am ready to start. Get off work on April 2 and dont have to go back till May 8.  :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:    :bigsmyl:

Well, i thought it was going to be bears in June, but I'm going off see if I can't get a day off to chase Turkeys around (If someone can tell me where they are in Tennessee!  :D )

I'll be after turkeys on May 1st, then up to Alaska for blackies on the 18th. Hope to hunt down some sheds very soon if the snow cooperates.

Turkey season starts Mar 21 but hogs till then and hogs then they get in the way. Well maybe hogs. Freezer hasn't got room but for a couple of turkeys. Need to start cooking I reckon.
