Going to try to ambush some very large swine, just outside a federal wildlife refuge on some private land; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this coming week. Then the 23rd, 24th, and 25th, will be out for spring gobbler. Will be missing opening weekend due to teaching a hunter safety class.

When the snow is all gone, I plan to hunt for the arrow I shot 1 second before midnight Dec. 31. Launched it at about a 60-degree angle so it would come down in my woods somewhere.    :)

Kitties whenever there is fresh snow, and some days when the snow isn't so fresh.  According to the weather channel, it looks like the next time I take the hounds for a walk will be Monday at 4:00 AM.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Turkeys here in AL starting next weekend.  Made a deal with my boy, first one with the shotgun...his preferred weapon (he's 6 and is a forceful spectator...we've killed four together since he turned three up till last year----can't wait till he can be the one totin' whatever he chooses and shoot the turkey) and then the next we're going after with a bow....UNTIL....mid April we're going further south after the Osceola...same deal...if we're lucky enough to get one with the gun early on....it's on with the bow....

I'm not sure. It won't be anything exotic - just the usual customers (maybe camel, maybe brumby, maybe donkey, maybe pig, maybe buffalo).
