Good morning everyone.  I am new to this site and to trad. gear.  Totaly hooked on the simplicity, difficulty, and beauty of the bows.  Trying to learn instinctive shooting and having a great time with it.  Does anyone know of any traditional get togethers in central Texas where I can learn from experienced folks.  These bows, Faith, Hope, and Charity are so beautiful.  Thank you to all who have sent in your stories, they all are such a draw to the traditional way.  May God bless all of you.  DTS          ps. just learning this computer thing, please be patient

Uh...me and Faith don't know each other that well yet. Good going Claudia.
This bow shoots great. Smooth and quick. Hope to have her after something this weekend.

Claudia is the poster girl for class too. She scored and sent me the bow out today. I am supposed to have her the last two weeks of the month, but due to some family issues I didn't believe I would get to hunt Hope more than twice due to conflicts that came up. Now I'll get to give Hope the attention she deserves and even send her on early to the next person in line.

Thanks Claudia you are most certainly one of the good ones!

Thanks, everyone.
Dave, you should have Ms. Hope tomorrow afternoon to begin your hunt.  It was my pleasure to send her along early and I'll keep my figers crossed that you and she get lucky   :D .  I do have something for the medicine bag and I'll be sending it to you when its ready...might be a couple of weeks, but it will definately be a gift of mojo   .
In the mean time, enjoy your time with Hope...the experience of holding a bow built by and held by friends is just amazing...

The post office tried to deliver her today when I was at the playground with the little guy. Never expected them to get it here over night. She must really want to get out and hunt after her time with you Claudia, you gave her a taste for along with the folks before you. Got permission to hunt 2 adjoining farms today that a huge 8 point calls home along with some of his smaller brethren. I'll try my best to keep the mojo flowing.

Hope has arrived in the Green Mountains, any New England/New Yorkers who would like to see her up close and personal are welcome to come visit her and put a few arrows through her.

Tomorrow I'll feed her some arrows and see what she likes, Saturday morning she'll be introduced to opening day of deer/turkey archery here.

Thanks Claudia for everything. Danny I'm looking forward to it to, thought I might have to give-up my time with her but the good Lord saw fit to make things work out better than I could hope. Now I'll try to put the icing on the cake with Hopes first New England kill.

Chad Jones gets her next. I'll try to make her a little heavier with Mojo for you buddy.

Claudia thats outstanding!!! Your article in TBM was a great read.

Good luck David.

We've just purchased 40 acres in Northern Wisconsin(next to my brother-in-laws 67acres)and I'll be taking Hope out for the late season. I'll also be launching an arrow in memory of those who have gone before us...

I'm thinking that my current arrows, 2114 with 125g tip will work with the 52# draw of Ms. Hope.  Can anyone tell me if my current arrows will get me in the ball park?
I just want to be ready as possible when she gets here, so as to not keep the lady waiting.
 Thanks,
Jerry

Ok POCs she did not like at all. 2016 with 145 grn points gave me this at 25 yards in an hours shooting time. I think she's good to go. What do you folks think? (In a 10-20mph swirling wind to boot)

This girl just plain shoots when you give her an arrow she likes!
