What a great start for both of these bows!  I expect them to be bloodied many more times before my chance comes, and look forward to seeing the stories here.

The bow will be in its sock...and the matching knife is slid in the arm guard.

Wow!  What a great looking package.

Terry, I'd like to remind all the participants that the Bow Bolt is machined to very fine tolerances (.ooo5" at some points) and making sure it is completely clean before assembly is very important.
Thanks,
Craig

Hey Terry,
You threw me off for a few minutes,,  I read the second thread first and then the origional thread, this one..  At first, I thought 2 gals were headed around the country hunting with different Trad. Gangers.  I thought that was pretty neat, however, when i got to the part about them being autioned off next year, I got as excited as a 59 year old can get.....  I thought this archery thing reall does bring folks closer together!!!!!!

Now that I'm all straightened out, Mark and Sandy, those are beautiful bows and how nice of you folks to send them on such a journey..

Mr. Walker, I do indeed like your hat!!!  Jim

That is one beautiful package!!!     Great job putting it all together. The only thing I see that may be missing is a box of excuses for misses.   :D

I am all ready thinking about set ups for next Spring when Miss Faith and I will will try to seduce an old tom into shooting range.  Come on April!!!

Thanks to all for each one's part in making this happen. Awesome idea!

Wow this is going to be an honor. I'll have to get some special arrows for this, mine aren't pretty enough for these lady's.

I think 2114's with either 125 or 150 grain heads ought to fly true? What do you think?

Looky what UPS brought me!!!

What's even better is what was inside:

I had just made up a batch of arrows for my Crusader, so I figured I would see how close they were.....GoldTip 55/75 - 29" - 100 grain insert - 125 grain point - They fly pretty good and other than the one flyer, not a bad 20 yard group for the first time to shoot the little lady      :archer:

I'm gonna have to wait till Thursday AM to sneak off for my week long hunt, but I think this little gal and me are gonna work out VERY well together!!

Is the schedule full for the right handed lady this year?  I would love to spend a while with her this year if she has any available dates.

Well, Faith and I went to see if we could find a few rabbits this morning, and to make sure all my hunting gear was ready for the long week of "serious" hunting that we will be doing starting tomorrow......

I was hoping that I could get a shot or two at some rabbits so that I could get some mojo going with little Faith.....it wasn't long before I saw two jackrabbits sitting about 75 yards ahead of me, so just for fun I decided to see if I could sneak up on them (anybody that's ever tried that knows it ain't easy  :banghead:      .....

I got a few shots at some cottontails, but soon ran out of time, I have WAY too much stuff to do to get ready for my "real" hunt, but all in all a beautiful morning spent with a very nice bow and getting her off to a very good start!

These two bows are natural born bunny killers. The rabbits at Shawn's place must be getting shivers as we speak and are wondering why. LOL

Wylee, with a 20 yard group like you got with Faith I would expect nothing less than a dead jackrabbit.    :bigsmyl:

Good shootin', again!!!

Can hardly wait for your "Real Hunt" reports.    ;)
