Got up early on this gorgeous Father's Day and decided to take Hope for a walk. This is the first day it hasn't been raining or very windy or something wrong since I recieved Hope. This is one sweet shootin bow and here's an hours worth of gophers to proove it. Thanks for the opportunity Terry.

That's 14 gophers she's accounted for now, bet my pile of gophers weighs almost as much as your fox Danny  :D

That's pretty impressive Doug, great shooting!

That fox is a great trophy Danny, way to go! These bows are making their mark pretty early in the game, aren't they?

Well, I took Faith out for a final "walk" today....dang, I'm gonna miss this little Gal!!

My oldest son wanted to go bowfishing, so I agreed to meet up with him out at our favorite bowfishin' spot.....

I intentionally got out there about an hour early so I could do a little walkin' around and see if me and Faith could scare up a rabbit or two.....

There weren't a lot of them moving around and the ones that were were REALLY movin'!!! But I did manage to get a cottontail to hold still just long enough!!        :D

So now it's time for me to get her all packed up and sent on the the next lucky lefty on the list!!!   :(   It's been a BLAST!!!

But at least I managed to get a lot of hunting done with her despite not having anything besides varmints and little critters to hunt for!!

Final Faith Tally for June:
1 Fox
1 Jack Rabbit
1 Cottontail
1 HAPPY, but wore out yleecoyote23!!!!

The beginnings of the medicine bags are here. I've received a bit from Danny and one from Doug. So just a reminder to the rest of you folks as the bows pass around.

Thanks,
Dave

Sorry, guys

I got the bow from Dougie on Thursday..went hunting Friday through Tuesday with Knife River.

I got down to the property late on Friday and set the bow up. My goodness what a beautiful bow.

I made a mistake, though. I cannot shoot a longbow grip and should have known better! I tried, and tried, and tried..and could not get a decent three arrow group with the bow.

For that reason, I decided that I could NOT shoot at an animal with the bow as much as I would have liked to. I played with it all weekend and Monday as well, but just could not make it work to the point I felt justified in using it so I put her back in the case and Friday morning she is going back to Mark Horne, who wants to check the bow out- and he will forward on in time to the next person.

Sorry fellas for wasting Hope's time coming here when she could have gone to someone else. I apologize.

I watched Ray work with the bow.  The man really poured his heart into it, but as beautiful as Hope is, it just isn't meant for everyone.  No doubt the hogs were relieved... LOL  Give Ray a recurve grip, though, and stand back for lessons from a real shooter!
