I like the D97 for myself. Seems a little more durable to me. But what do I know.

I prefer TS-1, seems a little quieter and softer at the shot.  I didn't like all the extra wax in the D97 either.  They're both great materials imo.

But what do I know.

I actually prefer 8125 so I can use more strands and twist up the colors better, but do not like TS-1, experimented with it when it 1st came our and was just not as durable as 8125 or D97, it tends to fuzz and fray much easier.  Mark

I like D97 myself,it's a good strong string.A 12 strand is good enough for upto a 100# bow.I shoot 12 strand D97 on bows from 50# to 83#,that way I get the same nock fit for all of them.Plus you can get D97 in 375'ft rolls and 1/8# and 1/4# spools and I find it cost alittle less then most other low stretch strings.

I have built strings out of both. I seem to prefer D97 over TS+. D97 works good on my longbows and recurves. TS+ seems to be a little noisy on my recurves, but fine on my longbows.

I really like them both. TS1+ is a little thinner than D97. In the end Apples to Apples to me.

"Bgram" made me a string with the D97 and I really like it! got by with a thinner string than regular fast flight  and after the initial major stretching, haven't had any movement at all. Picked up a little more speed and seems to be good material IMO
