I remember being upset when gas went up to 48 cents.
I remember when we would go fishing up the mountatin creek at sun up and get back at dusk and that was OK.
I remember getting a Daisy gun at age 6 and being told birds with color on them were not fair game. (Most of the time)
I remember when we got our first stoplight.
I also remember when our teachers could paddle us with a board made in wood shop and we would get another one when we got home.
I remember riding my bike to the end of the paved road and then back to where the good fishing was.
I remember High School sports before Steriods and other performance enhancing durgs. Time in the weight room was what we used.
I'm 48 until August. Knees feel like I'm dyslexic.
Three kids 19, 15 and 9. One wife for 22 years this July.
Old enough to appreciate a good custom longbow and some sweet tapered Cedar arrows that I put together.
Good to see several fellow August babies out there.
