Will be just 65 this Christmas, just recently joined Trad Gang, just received my new Toelke Whip longbow a couple of weeks ago (my re-entry into traditional archery). Never shot a deer with a trad bow (tried and missed)although i've shot other game with one, but plan to put venison on my plate by my birthday.

In my mind I still think I'm in my 30's but my right knee and my back keep objecting.
I've also noticed that people are more polite with me now.
Goodness, since I was born in '53, I must be 55!
May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.

i'm old enough to have seen real cavalry soldiers mounted on REAL horses (i was very young at the time, though. it was at ft riley kansas in the late 40's)...

i'm closer to 70 and the Good Lord has seen that i'm still able to hunt and shoot with my longbows and recurves...
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?
