Beware NYers, ticks are serious this year

Im sure most of us have had experiences with ticks over the yaers and some of us are even getting use to living with the.This year they are out of control.3 of us went stumping at Green Island R&G club yesterday and Ill be damn if we couldnt keep the critters off of us even on open trails.We must of had 40 on each of us and were constantly picking them off our clothes.Im not going out again this year without permanone.Be careful out there fellas, this is the worst I have ever seen them.

Great.... just in time for turkey season.  

I'll say though, I spent the weekend working out at our field range at Rakowana and I didn't get any.  I check too, because I've gotten them there in the past.

We have our NYB youth camp at your club this year.  I'll pass the info on to our campers.

Permenone is the best tick repellent I have used. Lasts up to 2 weeks even after washing your clothes.
This warm weather here will start those ticks hopping....Better to be safe than sorry later...

Izzy your so right, my wife and i went out this past weekend turkey scouting/stumping and we had more than or share of those critters!! Now  i've read alot on here about the permenone stuff, but where do you get it?? i won't let tics keep me from the woods! thanks Jim

only thing i hate more than ticks is chiggers! I've only had a few ticks on me so far and hopefully it stays that way.
