Kustom King - Horsebow Express - Anyone Try One????
«

I was noticing the Bear Paw Horse Bow Express on the Kustom King website and liked the style and price!
Anyone handle or shoot one of these? If so what did you think???
Thanks
Jake

I have one. It gets points for neat! Light, handy, and no hand shock. Draw stroke is different, 2-2-2-8-15-20. Not stacking, but different from a longer bow. You have to really make sure you hit your anchor or you will short draw. Really light and that takes some getting used to also, your left arm will wave if your follow through is poor. Ask me how I know those. Bill

I bought a 50#er. I really like the riser and the length, BUT, the bow doesn't feel like (nor does it shoot like) 50 #'s. It doesn't seem to have the trajectory or the speed of the 2 or 3 other 50# bows I am looking at using for turkey. I also have a 52" 50@28 Red Wing Hunter and a 48" 51@28 Golden Hawk Magnum, both are faster and flatter than the Bear Paw. Maybe it's me, I'm just not impressed.

Thanks fellas
Sounds like one of those "get what ya pay for" stories. I really do like the design, and it may be a good entry level bow or nice LB for a wife or GF getting started.
Jake
The design seemed to say preformance to me, so Bill and Selfbow, it is interesting that you both came to similar conclusions about its speed.
Thanks

I own a 50"er, but from a different brand. While these bows may not be quite as fast they shine in another way that I like: shooting un-canted while sitting flat out on my butt. Nice option to have for deer/turkey on the ground while travelling light.
