I spent the better part of the weekend shooting, cutting, and fiddling around with some carbon shafts/arrows.  Oh well, I tried some.  Gave it a shot.  I like my woodies and aluminum better.  A LOT better.  Anybody want a good deal on some carbon shafts and arrows?

No.

Out of all the carbons I tried so far I've only had problems with one type. BEMAN Classics 500. I WILL NOT shoot them out of my 47# Widow PLV. I had 3 nocks break on the way to the target. The last one scared the crap out of me. Gold Tips are my only choice for now.

No more carbons for me. Shot 1 deer with carbon and though the arrow performed well( with 1 strange quirk ) there was something missing, maybe the romance of the wood, I don't know. Cedar never let me down before and it smells a heck of alot nicer.
