Passin' it on
« on: March 21, 2009, 08:35:00 PM »
My three grandsons' first exposure to archery and bows of any kind today.  I bought them a '71 era Little Bear 20#@24" and made some 1/4"x24" cedar arrows.  I didn't know what to expect as there experiences are all team sports, fishing, crabbing, golf.  They took to it like a duck takes to water and want to shoot again tomorrow.  I'm a happy grandpa but I should have spruced up a bit for the photo shoot.

I didn't see one thing that could've been improved upon.

Congrats.  You're a rich man.

Ah, the power unleashed in the hands of kids. No better bonding agent between men and boys!

Crabbing is a team sport? I love the Maryland crabs as my wife's grandmother has a home on Tangier Island, but a team sport? Maybe I'm just reading this wrong.
