Into the Mountains 'Shed hunting'
« on: March 23, 2009, 01:16:00 PM »
well its as good an excuse as any for me to get out and do some exploring, and hey if i find a shed great.
we live in a beautiful place here and there are just huge wild areas to cover, i spoke to one of the Local Trad hunters who said he'd been here 16 years and have barely scratched the surface (and he's not scared to walk up and down a few mountains)

great hunting opportunity's for the coming years

thought id share some of my pics from my outings so far

Andy

I have been to the Gunnison area quite a few times, havn't hunted or explored much, but can attest to the sheer beauty of that area!!  The Gentleman you talked to spoke the truth, a guy could spend a lifetime around there and barely scratch the surface!

Great pics and great sheds!!!  That is one nice buck on the right!!!  I have seen alot more like him around that area.  You have some great hunting ahead of you!

Thanks for sharing that with us!

iv not come across any elk sheds yet, i know a few spots to go look when they open up the roads here again.

Hey Doc, Cabins are coming along nicely im not much of a plumber or electrician but im getting there, just all the time consuming bits and pieces to do now.

Hows the Whiskey distillery coming?    :goldtooth:

Great score, with the sheds. You and your Dad look to be right at home there in Co.
