New Fox High Sierra
« on: March 23, 2009, 11:34:00 PM »
Arrived today.  58", 46# @ 28.  Riser:  cocobolo and bocote, small grip, medium wrist.  Limbs: bocote with cocobolo wedges and micarta tips.

:D    Top 5 reasons I ordered from Ron King with Fox Archery:

5. Reasonably priced given the quality of work.

4. Ordered in mid-Dec, received 2 wks earlier than projected finish date.  Ron knew I wanted the bow for turkey season opener April 1st.

3. Exotic woods at no additional charge.

2. Guarentees +/- 1# of target weight at no additional charge.

1. Scroll back up and look at my bow!     :notworthy:

Truly, Ron was great to work with.  He created exactly what I wanted-- bocote isn't listed as a limb wood option.  He kept me involved in the process, and worked overtime to get it shipped before he left town all this week.  Mailed Friday, arrived Monday.

Now... bring on the longbeards!     :archer:

I love Ron and Debbie and his work is top notch. Had the chance two years ago to shoot and spend the weekend with them and learned a bunch. I own many of his bows and love them all. I am more of a longbow guy but I still have one breed left and it is smooth. One of the best bowyers of our time.

I regret selling my Royal Crown - it was the most well made bow of all the top line bows I have ordered.  The bow was absolutely gorgeous and Ron is a master craftsman.

The archery tradition continues here in Oregon. I think he makes one of the finest bows are a reasonable price.
