I don't think anyone attending Rod's shooting clinic will be disappointed. With Rod's help and coaching last spring (and a lot of hard work), I'm shooting better than I ever dreamed.

Thanks Rod for helping put the fun back into shooting.

I was just responding to Snag's PM about a west coast Rod Jenkins clinic shoot to spread around Rod's talents.  I was thinking about merging  Rod's clinic a few days before the next year's Tejon Ranch hog hunt.

Least I hijack Dan Palma's thread if there's any interest in a West Coast clinic/shoot with Rod at the driver's seat, please PM myself or Snag to discuss the matter.  If we get interest I'll throw out our own thread on the Pow-Wow.

Dan and Rod, good luck with your event

I just changed jobs to work with a friend and we have a 40 yard indoor archery range in the basement!  I could  host the lessons in San Diego if we could pull it together!    :jumper:

Would this include arrow tuning? Please put me in, and let me know where to send my deposit.
Thanks, Mike Gerard  owlbait

Wish I had the time and money. Always good to learn from an experienced coach. After talking with Rod you know he is.

Hope everyone who goes has a good time. I'm sure you'll all come away better shooters.

Chris

Owlbait........yes the clinic will include tuning.....Once you establish repeatable form,it's suprising just how simple tuning cab be.

I've been looking forward to this class since I heard rumblings about it at Kalamazoo.

Unfortunately, I've got an Iowa NR turkey tag and that is the only weekend it is good for   :banghead:  .

Turkeys over Rod...hmmmm, turkeys can wait Steve! Take advantage of this great opportunity and you will be able to go out and shoot more turkeys later...  ;)

You won't be disappointed with Rod's coaching.  His solid shooting information is helping a lot of archers understand their own shot sequence so they can control their shot.  Rod not only teaches it, he does it!

It's a bit far for me, but a person would probably get more good out of this clinic that a lifetime of self taught methods could provide..

If I had the ability, I'd drop anything and everything to capitalize on this opportunity..

Even though I'm sorta involved with the school I'm going to participate as a student because I need all the help I can get.  Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Doesn't John shoot a Fox Longbow?  Or am I thinking of another John H?

There's no telling what I might shoot from day to day Larry!  Never shooting the same bow two days in a row is tough on consistency (assuming I ever had any consistency to begin with!!).

I was watching Rod shoot at Kalamazoo and it sure wasn't a an ACS he was stacking arrows with so I guess John fool around with other bows to.

One thing about the class I'd like to ask, is this about gap shooting and using 3 under on the string or improving the way you currently shoot?

CJ...my coaching is all about improving your shooting....and helping folks find the way they personally shoot best, with emphasis on building a foundation for better shooting and the mental side of archery....how anyone aims or places their fingers on the string is a personal choice.
