Hill Bear Cub Winner Announced
« on: March 26, 2009, 07:56:00 PM »
Would like this to go to a kid who wouldn't be able to get a bow otherwise. Its a Howard Hill Bearcub Junior bow 56" and 40@26

Need name, age and a promise to post pics. Standard rules apply if outgrown, acquire a different bow or lose interest it is to be passed on here with the same stipulations.

Winner will be announced Sunday the 29th at 8PM or so.

Dave I am still working on a few young fella's around here to get into archery....

The one I am thinking of is Brennan. He is 11 yrs old, and I know archery is just what he needs!

Also my cousin Deon, he is 12 and would love to try out one of my "type" of bows...LOL

Thanks Dave!

Very kind of you RC. If you know a kid sign them up. Can't think of a better mentor for a youngster to get started hunting with then the Georgia Swamp Hawg Slayer.    :)

I have a youngster I am working with, but he isn't up to pulling 40# yet (8 yrs) so don't put my name in for your draw.

But what an excellent thing you are doing here.

Vermonster13,
Please put my daughter Sarah in the drawing.

My daughter Sarah is 14 she is shooting a old 40# shakespere recurve right now, but the grip is to big. She likes longbows too.
I will post pics if she wins the longbow.
God Bless.

This is great that you are able to continue to hand out bows for kids.

Let me throw Andy my next door neighbor into the hat.  He is age 14 and would make great use of a howard hill bow.

David,
I have a buddy with a 14yr old son, Michael. He could use it, I got plenty of arrows to set him up with!

(By the way, finally got the Kabekona tuned and shooting straight, WOW)

I would like to add my nephew Cody into this.  Normally I have bought him all of his bows but this year I just cant swing it.  He just turned 13 this fall will be his first Michigan bow season and he dosent have a decent bow to get started with.  He could have started last year but didnt get into hunters saftey in time.

I will throw my name in.  I have a couple of kids on my after school archery team who I think would continue to shoot if they had a bow (we use the schools NASP bows so most do not have her own, or shoot outside of this team).  I will Mention it to the students today and get a list.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
