My son Scott would love it. He really likes longbows and I wouldn't be able to get him one like that.

I have a little brother that is 12 years old.  He has been shooting a compound for about a year now and really wants to shoot traditional.  The other day he was shooting my old recurves left-handed (I shoot left-handed) and that is when i realized I need to find him a righty

I know a boy, Parker Smith 11 years old middle child, home schooled, absolutely loves archery.

Reason he hasn't shot lately?  No arrows.  I just gave him about a dozen arrows from my mismatched bucket.  He's got a green fiberglass little sioux and is ready to move up to a "real" bow!

I'll promise pictures and the outgrown rule.

I am deeply touched by the kindness and the generosity displayed by the members of the Tradgang!  You guys are great!  When I first read about Vermontster13's idea to give a bow to a youth I wanted to share this act of kindness with my family to let them know that there goodness in this world.

I'd like to "Thank" Vermontster13, RC, and Jacobsladder for their gift to Parker.  Parker is a neat kid, he's respectful, he's soft spoken, he has always had a love for archery and we get out once in a while to shoot bows.  But this bow is a significant event in his world.  Not only will it be a special gift from Tradgang members, it will mark his coming of age to set forth and hunt and forage with a stickbow in hand, too cool guys!

So my part of this amazing gift is to follow through with the agreement that this bow will return back to Tradgang when Parker moves on to another bow.  Furthermore, I will become more of a mentor for Parker as he becomes the archer and bowhunter he is destined to be.

Thanks again Tradgang!   :clapper:
