adding weight up front?

Basic question:  adding 50 gr.s of weight to a Magnus Stinger, 2016 Easton Legacy shafts.  What is the easiest way to add weight?  Steel or brass insert?  Could't find them at 3 Rivers...where and post a link if you can. Thanks!!!

They don't have brass inserts for 2016.One method is you can get at Kustom King or 3Rivers PDP adjustable converta point inserts for 2016.These are aluminum inserts but alittle longer and are threaded where you can add weights behind the insert like you can do with carbons.You can use the PDP weights or GT weights or you could go with a heavier broadhead.

This last season I used the Magnus 150 gr. Buzz cut and added two to three of the 5gr. brass weight rings. I shot through two deer but would still like to get to 200-250 gr. up front and use the Mag Stinger. Wish they had weighted inserts for aluminum arrows.

Ah yes...another one wanting brass inserts for aluminums.I want them too.

I'll tell ya what I did. I needed some weight up front on my aluminums, so I took some .257 caliber 87 grain bullets, that I still had from my reloading days, and used some hotmelt on one and put it inside the business end of my arrow. Then, before it cooled, I put my insert in behind the bullet with some hotmelt and let it cool for several minutes, and Viola! Added weight for a weaker spined arrow! Got this idea from a fellow Trad Ganger. You can use smaller weight bullets from .224 caliber and you can buy a whole box of bullets for not too much money. Works great for me.

What do you think about to make ad open die with a cheap material like chalk to fill with molten lead? It will be possible to make of the same dimension of our shafts using the right insert to punch holes on the semi dried chalk die.
We can fix with hot melt on the back of the insert like Doug suggested.

Hey Andy...actually it is for my cousin, who is shooting 150 gr. Stingers (2016 Legacy's)  and wanted to add 50 to 75 gr.s to them.  The Shrew is very happy with Beman MFX 500's with 210 gr. Silver Flames.
